Colonel Oil Bill, AKA “Bill” - simple yet so elegant, correct conformation and the most willing, mannerly demeanor you could ask for. This beautiful blood bay, 2020 model AQHA gelding stands 15.1 hands. This is the type of young gelding that you can faithfully call your go-to horse, the horse you trust to go out and use. The type of horse that has all the potential and correct mindset, along with quiet temperament to be that perfect family horse, the type that becomes part of the family and makes you his best friend. This gelding has the sweetest temperament, and kindest soul. Bill is always eager to learn and takes to new situations bravely and most importantly safely. On our farm bill has been exposed to many different situations- from just your leisurely trail rides to rough terrain- deep water, thick brush, steep and rocky hills, to noisy traffic up and down the highway, to even roaring farm equipment. We have used him to check fence and ride through our cattle. We’ve loaded a couple trucks out on him as well. Bill is a very smooth ride, he has a nice, smooth W/T/C all while keeping a level head. He stands to be mounted, saddled and bathed. He is gentle on or off his back. He’s just as confident solo as he is in a group. You can ride him western, english or even bareback if you prefer.
