Ryder is a 9 Year Old Strawberry Red Roan Quarter Horse Gelding. Standing 14.3 hands tall making him easy to mount and dismount but he is also stocky enough to carry any size rider. He stands very nicely at the mounting block to mount also. If your in the market for a really good broke but also super safe for any type of rider to ride and feel safe on then Ryder is the one your looking for. He is super quiet and gentle letting you feel relaxed and safe while riding him. He will help a timid rider gain there confidence. Ryder has worked on a large cattle operation and is capable of preforming any job on the ranch. He has roped and dragged calves to the branding fire and has pushed cattle in the pasture. I have primarily trail ridden him and he is a great trail horse. Rides anywhere you ask him to in the rough terrain and is very sure footed. He is a trail horse deluxe! He also rides nicely in the arena and has a nice walk , trot and canter and lopes nice circles. Watch him carry the American Flag and carry the big teddy bear! Nothing phases him.
