📝Meet Chick. Her registered name is “POCO UNO DOCS TWO”. She is just 10 yrs old. Fancy mare that rides like a finished reining horse!! She can spin a hole in the ground. Then from a stand still step into the prettiest western pleasure short lope. She is a blast to ride.
🪩This girl is as classy and stunning as they make them. She has all the fancy bells and whistles. Plus she is a bombproof all around type anyone can ride. Stands 15.2 hands tall. She is a stout, thick, wide made girl. She is a gorgeous palomino with a line down her back. (So if not mistaken that makes her carry a dun gene.)
🔎Chick has an old soul, been-there-done-that personality that makes her the go-to for a quiet enjoyable ride. She is both well trained and well behaved in any scenario or discipline. She is quiet and soft to ride in or out of the arena, alone or in a group. Not at all skittish, jumpy or reactive yet sure-footed and nimble through coarse uneven terrain. Has a ground covering walk, a silky smooth jog, and a dreamy lope all on a loose rein or even no bridle at all! Not forward or pushy making her a terrific step up for a novice rider looking for a confidence builder or babysitter to show them the ropes! Very forgiving and patient both on the ground and under saddle. She rides English as well and has been schooled over cross rails up to 2ft. She ready to go show with endless potential to progress. Has enough of a handle to participate in shows. English or western. She would make an excellent amateur cutting or team sorter. Has all the training there.
🕰️Chick has spent plenty of late nights around the roping pen as well as early mornings trotting out to move cattle. She is no stranger to a hard days work and is a blast to use! Side passes to open and close gates, rides anywhere in the group, has snubbed colts, drug logs, crosses water, easy to catch wherever you find her, loads and hauls like a dream, stands tied quietly, great for the farrier.
❤️Chick is absolutely a favorite among everyone that meets her. I can not express enough how safe she truly is. This mare wants to please and wants to take care of her rider. She has zero and I men zero bad habits. You will not get hurt around this mare. Unless you are just drunk and fall off.
👍🏼She is such an easy keeper. No maintenance or special things for her. No warming her up before you get on to ride either. You can get on her fresh out on the pen and go. She is not silly or high strung. She is truly a once in a lifetime type horse.
🥰Chick has been at the same place her whole life. She has only had 2 homes including us. The elderly man that bred and raised her sold her to us after he fell very ill.
