Meet Barbie
Coming 4 year old AQHA registered mare. Barbie is a stunning palomino with a dappled golden coat and big, kind eye that turns heads everywhere she goes. She’s eligible for Palomino papers if you’d like to double register her! You can go show in the Open Shows, USEF shows, AQHA, and Palomino.
Barbie has done everything (and more!) that a young horse should. She’s started a lovely turn on the haunches, moves off the leg beautifully, and handles obstacle courses with ease. She’s gone cross-country over logs, ditches, and banks, and walks right into the water without hesitation. She’s confident down busy roads in traffic and has been shown successfully with a 10-year-old rider.
✨ Undefeated in Hunter Hack, Barbie has won every single WTC Hunter Hack class she’s entered — even with a 10-year-old rider! She’s been shown indoors, outdoors, and rides in our large open fields, taking it all in stride.
She’s been exposed to just about everything: loud bullwhips, tarps, cows, bridges, deer, dogs, and big trucks.
🏆 Show Ring Experience: English Pleasure, Pattern Classes, and Hunter Hack. We also think she’d make a super fun Ranch Riding or All-Around prospect thanks to her laid-back, willing attitude. Her fancy, fluid movement will absolutely turn heads in the Hunter Ring. What I love most about Barbie, coming from the show world, is that she will happily frame up in the bridle or drop the reins and go “long and low.”
Barbie is more “whoa” than “go,” but she’s never lazy — she has a perfect natural rate and a great brain.
She loads, ties, cross-ties, and stands quietly at the trailer with no fuss. Barbie is an easy keeper. She’s barefoot, sound, and requires zero maintenance.
This gorgeous young mare truly checks every box: looks, movement, mind, and heart. We’ve loved having her in our program, and it’ll be bittersweet to see her go. Barbie has been exposed to so many different experiences and is ready for someone to finish her out in their chosen discipline and keep her winning streak going!
