Hobbs is a well put together 4 year old APHA gelding. Hobbs is a very pretty mover and has great confirmation. We have owned Hobbs from a yearling. Has a great foundation and mind on him. He is very good at groundwork knows how to lunge on a loose line, move his shoulders and disengage his hind quarters. He has an in your pocket type of personality and has been very easy and willing to train. Hobbs stand 15.1 hands, comes to a mounting block for easy mounting and dismounting. Hobbs rides through our obstacle course which consists of pool noodle, tarps, Tedder todder bridges, logs ect…. Hobbs picks up his leads, has a smooth trot, lope and jog. He is soft in the face and throughout his body. Hobbs is very natural and smart at a lot of things and picks things up quickly. We have used Hobbs to gather the cows, we’ve rode him out on the desert and out on the trails. Hobbs crosses water, rocky hills, and other terrain with ease. Hobbs is well bred with the western pleasure breeding he has and with a little more training could go the showing route. He’s has been rode my many different riders and done well with all of them. If you’re looking for a well made, thick boned, nicely put together gelding Hobbs has a great start for anyone to take him in any direction you choose to go.
