Chex is a drop dead gorgeous Palomino gelding. Chex is 10 year old and stands at 15.2 hands tall. Chex has been a very sweet and well mannered the whole time we have owned him. He has a thick, sturdy build with that will last for years to come! Not only is Chex extremely good looking he also rides extremely broke! He has been rode outside and is an amazing trail companion. Chex has been on many, miles of trails, and rides through all kinds of terrain. He was ranched on for years so he has pretty much seen it all! He is very careful about where he places his feet and always takes care of his rider. He is a point and go type of horse. Chex will cross water, go through brush and logs with ease. He has been rode on the road and is used to all kinds of traffic. He will ride out alone or in a big group, you can just throw the reins away and just point and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride on him. Chex also rides really good in the arena and is a pretty fancy mover! He even rides BRIDLELESS! He will one step lope, always picking up the correct leads, nice stop and back up. Trot around with a headset, has a true one hand neck rein. Even side pass to open and shut gates. If you can swing a leg over him you can ride him. You can let Chex sit for a long time and he will be the same horse every single time. No buck or rear ever! Chex has seen a rope and is a finished head horse. He loves to sort cows. He is suitable for any type of rider and is super SAFE!! Chex is truly an all around type of horse. Chex always stands perfectly still to tack, bath, stand tied to the trailer, has been hauled all over and will load and haul quietly. He'll pick up all 4 feet and stands great for the vet and for the farrier. Chex absolutely loves a bath and to be groomed. He is used to a stall or turn out on pasture and will do good on either. Chex does require some maintenance if used on hard or rough terrain he will require front shoes.
