AVA Bills Doc Frost “Billy” – Safe, Sound, and Solid as They come… Meet Billy, the kind of gelding everyone hopes to find and few ever do. This 2015 AQHA roan dun gelding stands a solid 15 hands, thick-built with big bone, a kind eye, and tiger-striped legs that give him that true ranch horse look. He’s gentle, steady, and broke the way good horses used to be — simple, honest, and dependable through and through. Billy is as easy to ride as he is to look at. He stays soft in the bridle, picks up both leads willingly, stops and backs with ease, and moves off your leg without a fuss. His transitions are smooth, his gaits are comfortable, and he rides collected and correct whether you’re in the arena or out covering country. Out on the trail or around the ranch, he’s the kind you can count on. Traffic, dogs, flags, tarps, balloons, wildlife, water, or bridges — none of it bothers him. He’ll step through creeks, cross logs and tires, ride through brush, and stay quiet and confident no matter where you take him. Billy has been used for ranch chores and long trail rides and never gets worked up about anything. He’s the same horse every time — levelheaded, patient, and willing. Anyone can ride him — from the littlest kids to the biggest cowboys. He’s safe, forgiving, and easy in every way. His pedigree matches his quality — by TKS Bills Misty Dun and out of VA Docs Dakota Ruby, carrying the influence of Bill’s Rock, Dry Doc, and Docs Frosty Buck — all bloodlines known for bone, brains, and heart. Billy represents them well in both mind and body. He’s easy to catch, stands tied, loads, shoes, and hauls like a pro. He’s one of those geldings you can take anywhere and be proud to show up with. We trust this horse completely — he’s proven, genuine, and worth every bit of what he stands for. If you’re looking for a partner that’s safe, classy, and built to last, Billy’s the one you’ll be proud to call yours.
