Skipper is well mannered and easy to be around both on the ground and under saddle, he stands queitly for grooming, tacking, bathing and for the farrier. He also loads and unloads well and settles into new environments. Under saddle he is smooth responsive and willing. He has a comfortable walk, jog and a smooth lope with a good stop. He rides out confidently alone or in a group and is a seasoned trail horse. He has been roped off of and does not get hot in the box, he has been used on the head and the heal side.
