Ziggy is my personal favorite in the barn, with his puppy dog personality, athletic ability, smooth gates and transition. You couldn't ask for anything better. He loves the trail obstacles and enjoys playing with the tarp, flag, and noodles. He's great with dogs and good with traffic. He's been to hundreds of shows and seen the busy atmosphere. Ziggy also love cattle & been roped on by youth.
Ziggy stands 15.1 hands tall & weighs 1200lbs. Ziggy was raised by AQHA elite breeder Tom Moore. He was then started at the University of Findlay & was part of their program for 3 years. He was voted sophomore horse of the year. Then sold to continue his career as an all around horse. The past 4 years Ziggy lived on a cattle ranch in TN as a young youths mount for herd work, doctoring & catching loose cattle. He has literally seen it all & can do it all. Ziggy is sired by the Famous AQHA stud Zippo Can Do, and out of a Dont Skip Charlie mare.
If you dream of winning blue ribbons, Ziggy can make those dreams come true. He has extensive training in Western Pleasure, AQHA Trail, Showmanship, and Hunt-seat. He also has all the fancy buttons, but he is honest and simple to ride. He's absolutely the same horse everytime you step on him. Great for any Novice, Amature, or beginner. If your looking to get into the ranch shows, Ziggy can do that too. He has a big beautiful long trot when asked. You can even pull logs and throw a rope off him.
If you enjoy ground work Ziggy is a blast to work on the ground from lunging to halter-less showmanship. Ziggy has the best confirmation and will do exceptionally well in Halter classes.
Ziggy is easy to clip and stands for the farrier. Loads in and out of any type of trailer. Stands great at the trailer for day shows and stalls well for long weekend shows.
