Not only does he have the lineback and barring down his legs, but he is also thick made and stout. He’s a perfect 11 years old, and a handy 15.1 hands. He is easy to catch and always ready for your next big adventure. Gru will sidepass to pick you up off a mounting block. We have primarily used Gru for trail riding and ranch work. Between trail riding in the Rockies and in town, Gru has been exposed to all types of wildlife from moose to predators, vagrants, backyard pets, traffic, and bicyclists. He crosses bogs, brush, logs, bridges, and water. On the ranch we have used him for gathering and sorting cattle and roping a few as well. This guy has a nice handle and will go bridleless in the arena. Gru has a nice rocking horse lope, and a smooth trot and extended trot. He’s tarp, flag and big ball broke too!!
