Introducing Bear, a gorgeous dark brown/black gelding standing approximately 15 hands tall and thick built. Bear is a more whoa than go type of guy that has been on hundreds of miles of trails, he was previously used on a dude ranch in the west to carry newbie riders through the mountains. He followings along on the trail without even having to touch his reins, he will go over, through and up anything you ask. He will also lead go out alone or in big groups. He is always level headed and smart on his feet. Bear is definitely the steady eddy type that will plod along all day long. Bear will trot and canter nicely picking up both leads, but his strength is the trails! Bear has the nicest one hand neck rein, a good stop, moves slowly off leg, and backs up. He’s not a spooky horse and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He picks up all 4 feet and is currently wearing front shoes because of how many rocks we have here. Bear would make a fantastic horse for beginner riders or someone that likes to just sit back and relax and take in all the sights of the trails! Check out Bears video and let him show you how he is.
