Jerry, as we call him, is a 12-year-old, quarter horse gelding that stands a solid 15 hands with the beautiful buttermilk buckskin color. Jerry is well broke to ride and drive and has been ridden by all levels of riders, including complete beginners. Jerry is very easy to get along with and he will walk right up to you in the pasture.
We have owned Jerry for the past 8 months and we got him from the gentleman that raised him since he was a weanling. Jerry has been on miles and miles of trails up in the mountains and down the main highway. Jerry rides great outside or in the arena and he will pick up both his leads and is soft in the bridle. Jerry also rides English and has a smooth way of going. We have exposed Jerry to obstacles, bouncy balls, tarps and about anything you can think of and he don’t mind any of it. Jerry rides great by himself or in a group, and he does not need to be ridden every day to stay broke. You can ride him daily or once a month and he will come out and ride the same, or you can hitch him up to the cart and go for a stroll!!
We have also used Jerry to push and fetch cattle and check fences and run errands.
Jerry stands to be tacked and mounted and also trailers well. Jerry is up to date on farrier and dewormer and had his teeth done 5.26.2023. Jerry sells sound with no vices.
