This guy has it all going for him. Rio is a 12 year old grade bay roan gelding that stands 15.3 hands tall. He is sweet and personable. Well mannered in a stall with no vices and easy to catch from a pasture. He likes to be everyone’s friend and gets along in a group environment as well. Rio is well behaved for every basic thing a horse should have manners for. Catching, leading, loading, farrier, shots/coggins, lunging. You name it, he is easy to handle and be around and offers no fuss. On his back, Rio is extremely well broke to ride. He is finished in the bridle and will carry himself nicely in a port and shank or take the contact of a snaffle. He has a lovely and easy to sit one handed jog and a great neck rein. He canters on command and is correct in his lead and remains one hand broke. Rio has many trail miles under his belt as well. Being owned and ridden by an older lady, he doesn’t have very many miles by himself but is easy to take lead or follow when he rides with another horse. On his own, he is still well mannered but can be less confident. He carries a flag, swings a rope, totes English tack, rides through and over obstacles and much much more.
