The kids love his name, Hershey because of his chocolaty brown color. They believe he looks like the color of a candy bar. He is just a sweet as one too. Hershey is that steady Eddie horse that everyone needs weather you are looking for your first horse, your last horse, or kids horse Hershey is your guy. Hershey is that super sweet ranch gelding that anyone can get along with. He’s gentle, kind, easy to catch and enjoys being around you. We purchased him from a neighbor who was forced to retire from riding only due to her health. We purchased her last 3 horses and she didn’t want to sell, he was truly loved and he took such excellent care of her. This is the kind of horse that everyone is looking for, the one that no one wants to sell. She had owned him for 8yrs. We have had him in our program for the past 6 months and he has been exactly everything she loved. He’s solid and seasoned down the trail, no vices, no bad habits. Give him time off and just go have a fun ride. No nonsense. He has been ridden alone for miles up in the mountains, he’s just solid and dependable. He’s also happy to ride in a group, not buddy sour, gets along with all the other horses. Hershey is truly a horse of a lifetime. We put the most beginner, timid riders on him and they have so much fun. Hershey is a confidence booster. He’s the whole package, if you need him to do a ranch job he’s been there and done that, if you want him to go for a trail ride, he’s hassle free and if you need him to babysit the grand kids he’s the one for the job. Hershey has always had excellent care and handling. He has had a basic PPE, up to date on worming, dental and farrier. We welcome you to do your own PPE and to come to the ranch a to meet Hershey.
