🤤Sunset is a 10 year old (yes 10 for sure. He is year branded.) whooping 15.3 hands tall Dappled Golden Palomino Gelding!! He weighs in at 1350 lbs. He is a big boy!!! He is a big stout full made boy. The real thick kind that quite literally is 3 ft wide. He is a “once in a lifetime” old fashioned taylor made type horse. You rarely see a horse like this one. He is the absolute total package. Pics absolutely do not do him justice. Plus to top off the total package he is a bombproof safe one for the whole type to enjoy. He has been used for anything and everything. A complete combination of an all around horse.
🧨This unbelievably unique animal is an outstanding horse with so much talent and ability. He is at a prime age and ready to go on and do big things. He has an excellent foundation in his training. He is really really fancy fancy broke with all the bells and whistles. Spin, slide, side passes, flying lead changes, etc… you name. He has been shown the ranch versatility classes, the ranch and the trail course classes. He is extremely honest and willing to please. He is so naturally quiet and easy going. From his jog to his little silky lope. He packs his head low and level without any fuss or resistance. I can’t say it enough. He is a once in a lifetime horse.
🌅Sunset got his start in a feed yard being used to move calves. He knows what a hard days work is and can handle it. He has been roped off a lot both in the pasture and in the arena. Been roped off of and used to doctor calves. He would make an excellent head horse. He has the size and ability for it. But he also loves just being pampered on and riding around the ranch. You can really go any direction and do anything you want to do on this boy.
☀️Weather you or out of the arena you will get noticed. He does amazing out on the trails and riding through town! He is not at all spooky or bothered by things like wildlife or common things one might see on a trail ride or in town. Like traffic, bikes, motorcycles, lots of people. He quiet riding anywhere in the pack and he stands tied at the trailer for tacking and untacking like a perfect gentleman. Absolutely no bad habits whatsoever!! You do not have to warm him up or tune him up to go for a ride. He is easy and hassle free to ride.
🔆No matter which direction you decide to take this handsome boy he is ready and willing. At just 10 yrs old he has his whole life ahead of him. I would absolutely say he is suitable for any level and any age rider. From beginners all the way up to an advanced rider. This gelding has been nothing short of amazing for us. Plus the best part is he has the most amazing, in your pocket personality with an "old soul" disposition! He loves people and attention. Loves kisses and muzzle scratches. He will lay his head on your chest and just close his eyes getting loved on! If ever there was a young horse suited for a novice to ride and show.. this would be him! You cannot walk and the barn and walk past him without saying hello. He will make sure to get your attention. He is a meet you at the gate and follow you everywhere type.
🌇 Sunset is the absolute easiest horse in the world to have and take care of. So an easy keeper is an understatement. Requires no maintenance of any kind. He can go bare foot or put shoes on him. You can stall him or turn him out. Doesn’t matter to him. He is easy. PLUS he sells 100% sounds with no issues. We did have a pre vet evaluation done (included in the pictures).
