Chainys Sir Quincy
2022 Bay AQHA Gelding
Here’s a 3-year-old gelding with the mind, look, and foundation to go any direction. Quincy is level-headed, smart, and eager to please. He’s already been lightly shown in Ranch Riding Rail classes, started correctly, and never pushed.
This young gelding has the temperament to suit a youth or amateur, yet the ability to step up for a serious competitor. He rides quiet, works off leg pressure, carries a natural headset, and stays collected at all gaits. Quincy has been exposed to trail obstacles, cattle, and even gunfire. He’s soft, willing, and rides just as well outside the arena as he does inside.
Quincy has been ridden extensively outside the arena on trails and during ranch work. He confidently handles all types of terrain, going up and down steep hills with ease, and has been on multiple overnight camping trips where he stands tied quietly to hitching rails. As talented as he is in the show pen, he’s equally at home on the ranch—used for checking pastures and fences, sorting cattle, and opening gates with ease.
He’s the kind that can work during the week, then go show or enjoy a relaxing trail ride on the weekend. Quincy is very well mannered and stands great for grooming, tacking, and the farrier. He stalls well, goes out in a mixed herd, and gets along with other horses. 100% sound, maintenance-free, and ready to continue his versatile career wherever you point him.
