A Stunning 3-year-old, 16-hand, AQHA bay gelding with a sweet personality and a mind well beyond his years. JACK is a classy mover and the kind that was born broke — a true gentleman both under saddle and on the ground. He rides beautifully both English and Western.
Jack is a personal favorite! I’m not sure I’ve ever met a horse his age with the same calmness. He is a true asset to our barn. He’s patiently stands while the kids pet & groom him. He greets us at the gate, always easy to catch. A very personable horse who craves human interaction.
Jack has a smooth walk, trot, canter, and transitions to match. He frames up nicely, stretches over his topline, and pushes off his hind end when asked. He’s a fantastic fit for an adult amateur who enjoys a quiet leg ride and wants to play around in the hunter ring.
Jack is also suitable for a confident youth to bring along on the barrel pattern. He has the breeding to be a top contender. He lopes both directions on the correct lead, moves laterally, collects nicely, and has the willingness to learn.
Outside of the arena, Jack is no stranger to the trail. He crosses water, goes up and down inclines, is confident through wooded areas, rides across open pastures, and rides alone or in a group. He’s been used to sort and gather cattle, opens & closes gates, and even totes the kiddos around.
Whether in the arena, out in the pasture, pushing cattle, or exploring trails, he handles it all with ease and confidence. He stalls perfectly, turns out well in a mixed herd, enjoys grooming, and is easy to load and haul. With his strong foundation and fundamentals, this gelding has the versatility to go in any direction — English or Western. He’s also a great candidate for a lesson program in the future.
