Whiskey is a 2020 AQHA gelding standing 14.3 hands tall and weighs 1100lbs. When I think of a ranch horse the first horse I picture is a beautiful bay. Whiskey is a ranch horse deluxe, cowy, responsive and fun for the whole family to go out and ride. If you have a ranch and need that horse to loan out to a green rider Whiskey is just that horse. Whiskey is very easy to catch anywhere, we have caught him out in a hundred acre pasture and rode him bareback after dark with just a twine around his neck. He is also a solid trail horse and he is perfectly happy just being rode once in a while going out for that leisurely trail ride. He is great with time off, just saddle up and go. He’s been our go-to horse for everything from catching escaped calves on cold snowy days, to brandings on hot days, to babysitting the kids and trail ride on the mountain. Whiskey earned his way into our Magnificent 7 line up with his sweet personality and his willing to please disposition.
