Up for grabs is Big Blue, a handsome 5-year-old true blue roan draft cross gelding standing 16 hands tall – the kind of horse that’s built tough and ready for whatever you throw at him. With his striking blue roan color and sturdy draft cross frame and fine head, he’s got the looks and the muscle to handle trails, ranch work, the show arena, or just fun easy riding. He’s as straightforward and dependable as they come. Big Blue’s got a calm, easy-going personality – he stands quietly for all the things from farrier work to tacking and vet work, and he loads real easy as shown in the video. Out on the trails, he’s steady as can be and crosses scary old bridges (see video), etc., with ease. He has a comfortable trot and a very smooth, comfortable, easy lope. Nice stop and back. He’s gentle enough for the kids, grandparents, and neighbors that you like, but also has the drive for more experienced riders looking to put miles on him. He’s built stocky and sound with good bone.
