Ducky is a gorgeous 6-year-old palomino gelding with a rich orange-gold coat and a long, wavy blonde mane and tail that make him stand out anywhere he goes. He’s a true “been there, done that” ranch horse with grit, try, and the kind of work ethic you can count on to get the job done every time.

This gelding has spent plenty of time earning his keep on the ranch. He’s been to brandings, pushed cattle, dragged calves to the fire, and covered miles checking fences. Handy and responsive, Ducky rides with a smooth walk, jog, and lope, neck reins easily, has a crisp rollback, and will stop hard off your seat. He’s the kind of horse that’s both practical for a long day’s work and fun to ride.

Ducky is also a steady, dependable partner outside the ranch. He’s confident in town, around traffic, strollers, dogs, and other commotion, and will cross bridges, water, tarps, and any obstacle you put in front of him.
