Alonso is a 6 yr old buckskin quarter horse gelding standing at 14.3 hh. He is well trained to ride. He has an easy going personality and is very easy to get along with! He stands good for tacking up and for grooming! He enjoys getting bathes! Alonso is good in the pasture with other horses, he is turned out at night and comes in during the day. He is easy to catch in the field as well! Alonso has been on a trail ride with 500 other horses and has been part of a parade as well! He is used to the commotion and handles it well! He is the perfect step up horse for beginners or for kids! He is a great trail horse, he crosses creeks, steps over logs and watches him step going up and down the hills! He has been rode on the state route and doesn’t mind the traffic! He is used to being around dogs. He will go through all the obstacles. He doesn’t mind the tarp pr the ball! He walks over the bridge and the tires. He will also stand on top of the block! He stands good for mounting and waits to go until told! Alonso rides great in the arena, he will pick up both leads, he stops and backs up nicely! His walk, trot, canter is smooth and easy to sit to. He collects up nice but can also be rode on a lose rein! He rides bareback, western, and also bridles! He moves off of leg pressure, neck rein, and can also be rode using direct rein! He backs nicely through the poles and does a 360 in the box. He has a nice side pass too! He has been my go to mount for beginners to use on trail rides and in the parade!
