BROWNIE — BIG-TIME HEAD & RANCH HORSE At 6 years old, 15HH and 1160 pounds, he offers the total package—size, strength, and natural run—paired with the kind of correctness and consistency that’s hard to find. Brownie is a big, strong, well-broke head and ranch horse. We have owned him since he was a yearling, so we know him from the ground up and have had the opportunity to watch him mature into the horse he is today. He has been hauled, ridden outside, and used on the head side, giving him valuable experience in different environments. He has the size and strength you want in a head horse, but still has the athletic ability and speed. In the roping pen, Brownie is solid and dependable. He has been used on the head side and is comfortable tracking cattle, rating, handling pressure, and staying focused on his job. He has the run, speed, and power to make a serious head horse. Brownie leaves flat, and scores with confidence. He stays quiet in the box and gives you the same dependable look every time. Brownie has a good handle, moves well off your hands and legs, stops, backs, turns, and is responsive without being overly sensitive. Outside the arena, he reflects true ranch experience. He is seasoned, capable, and comfortable handling cattle in real-world conditions, travels well, and covers country with ease while maintaining the same quiet, willing disposition you expect from a top-end horse. He has the versatility to be ridden outside during the week and hauled to the roping pen on the weekend. Brownie is the complete package for someone looking for a big, broke, athletic horse with a head-horse future and a true ranch-horse foundation.
