Meet “Amigo”. He is a 2019 AQHA gelding, standing at 15 hands.
Amigo is quiet minded, eager to please and reliable in any situation. He’s an honest heart and has the ability to boost the confidence of any beginner or timid rider. He has been ridden by young and old riders alike and he always takes care of his “person”.
He is very patient, especially with youth riders just starting out. If it’s learning to ride or learning to rope, Amigo is solid and steady. Even if you just need a “babysitter” for a while, he definitely fits the bill.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about Amigo.
Amigo is also steady and solid for your intermediate and advanced riders.
He’s a great cow horse - ropes, sorts, side passes, doctors out in the pasture, opens gates and handles himself well under pressure in and out of the working pen. No challenge is too big for this boy. You can rope about anything - he knows his job. He’s a great partner at whatever task you set out to accomplish
Amigo travels on any sort of terrain. He pushes cattle and a band of horses almost everyday on the ranch. He doesn’t barn or buddy sour, and rides off alone without hesitation. Amigo is use to cow dogs at his heels, and doesn’t get bothered by things along the way.
He is the easiest to catch in any pen or pasture. He stands quiet for everything from grooming to saddling to shoeing. He definitely loves attention and the occasional treat!
Amigo checks all the boxes as a great all-around dependable ranch and family horse who’s had lots of great experience.
