He is a true blue roan draftcross that stands 16.2hh that will weigh around 1400lbs and he is a 5 years old. Prince is certainly an attractive fellow but there is a lot more to him than what meets the eye! Prince is everyone’s best friend as he loves attention and is very calm natured. Prince is out of the same breeding program as several other top draftcross geldings that we have had over the last 5 years and every one of them has the right mind with the calm nature that makes them great family horses. We have got Prince started on learning some tricks such as to lay down and set. Prince has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 6 year old daughter. He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe as well. Prince is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope and a good stop! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Prince is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. In addition to riding, Prince has also been worked around the farm as well. Prince is a rare find that anyone is lucky to have!!!
