Stunning, head-turning 7YO AQHA, cow and performance bred gelding. 15 hands 1150 lb. Super well built with great conformation, big bone and great feet. Very friendly and outwardly seeks approval. Very athletic, surefooted and smooth! He’s bred for versatility, athleticism, and rugged durability.
He was previously started on the roping dummy/sled (both heading and heeling), has worked cattle and sale barns. He has a good stop, takes his leads easily, side passes, opens and closes gates, ponies other horses. UTD on everything. He gets along with everyone in the herd, mares and geldings and is easy to catch. Loads in any type of trailer, turns to unload or backs out smoothly. He can go all day, but needs a job and a knowledgeable rider who is a leader, not just out on the occasional short ride. Would make a great ranch/rodeo/roping horse! He crosses rushing rivers and has been exposed to tons of miles of trail riding in all seasons and terrain with multiple dogs always accompanying. He’s been exposed to up-close moose, bighorn sheep, deer, elk, etc. He’s camped overnight on the highline, competed in a couple Omoksees (Gymkhana) and has been exposed to Skijoring. No buck, bite or other vices. Super fun horse to ride and gorgeous to boot! Kalispell, Montana.
Top breeding includes lineage known for bone, strength, bred for utility, endurance and work ethic with sold feet and durable builds, blended with lighter, athletic lines with strong cow traits. Bottom breeding includes lineage known for strong hips, good feet, toughness, grittiness and capability of long work days blended with cow sense, rate and stopping ability.
