Phoenix is a 7 yr. Old dun gelding, 15.2 hands tall . He is a talented, gentle and quiet yet athletic & smart with a willingness to work. His versatility and adaptability has earned him a reputation as a reliable and trustworthy partner in any ranching situation. Phoenix Is known for his great demeanor and willingness to please, he is a trusted partner for riders of all skill levels. Whether doing ranch work, in the arena, or out on the trails Phoenix continues to impress with exceptional performance and undeniable presence. Phoenix has a great handle, lopes beautiful circles, has a smooth flowing trot. He is soft in the bridle, moves off your legs and is just an easy riding horse. He has the easy going demeanor that makes him perfect for the novice rider yet a ton of fun the seasoned rancher, or trail rider. Phoenix showcases the perfect blend of athleticism, intelligence and versatility. We have rode him for miles and miles on the trails.. He is willing to do anything you ask, goes where he’s pointed . Out on trail rides he’s happy to ride in a group or he will ride out alone. He is not buddy sour or barn sour. We have spent many hours riding him by himself and he is confident everywhere you take him. We have given Phoenix time off and saddled him up and rode him off with No issues at all, just as quiet and solid as if it was a warm summer day. Phoenix is very friendly, he meets you at the gate and enjoys being around people. He wants to be your friend and is happy to be wherever you are. Phoenix gets along well in a mixed herd or he is happy by himself in a box stall. He loads in, backs out of the trailer and hauls well. Phoenix is good for the vet and stands well for the farrier. He is up to date on worming, dental and farrier. We welcome you to do your own PPE. We also welcome you to come to the farm and meet Phoenix . He has a current coggins and all paperwork will be order for him to travel to his new home.
