Dually is the kind that feels like he’s read the manual already.
Seven years old, 15.3 hands, dapple grey, and very much the “been there, done that” type. He’s spent real time ranching and at the stockyards, working gates, sorting, pushing, and loading cattle like it’s part of his daily routine because it has been. He’s doctored sick calves, handles a rope confidently, and understands how to step into a job without needing it explained twice.
Out on the trail, he goes where you look. Logs, ditches, rough ground, water he actually enjoys… he treats it all like part of the adventure. He’s been ridden by all levels of riders and has even packed around lesson students a bit, the kind that makes people feel more capable than they thought they were.
He’s well broke in the bridle and through his rib cage, picks up both leads easily, has a big, hard stop when you ask, and a turnaround that’s simply fun. He’ll lope around Western or step into English tack with the same willing attitude, covering ground with a big, eye catching stride.
On the ground, he’s just simple. Easy to catch, groom, tack, mount, haul, and shoe. He settles into a stall without fuss and gets along turned out with others just as well.
