This sweet gelding has proven himself time & time again for us. We had the privilege of being around Justin for the past 6 years. He's packed me & my 4 year old son on 3 to 4 hour trail rides, & been the Steady Eddie to pony him on his own horse through traffic, parades, & cow catching adventures. He has a calming demeanor that will make the most anxious rider feel at home & safe. Justin has been a big part of my lesson program this summer, teaching kids as young as 6 how to ride.
Justin is a seasoned pro. He is currently excelling in Ranch Versatility, 4H, Trail, Western Riding, Ranch Reining, English, Equitation, Lower Level Dressage & going over small jumpes well.
Justin will be everything you ever dreamed in a horse and more. He's quiet enough for any level rider, young or old! Not only is he fancy in the arena, but he's a trail horse deluxe. He will pack saddle bags and go anywhere you point him. He has encountered all types of wildlife with no spook or hesitation. If you enjoy working cattle and sorting, Justin handles a cow well. We have used him to get up & pen large herds of cattle with my 4 year old son.
Justin stands right under 16 hands and weighs around 1150 lbs. He has a long, beautiful mane & and a thick, pretty tail. He even has a dun stripe & zebra striping on his legs.
He's always the first to meet you in the field and can sit for weeks or months without work and be the same horse every time. He's lived most of his life out in the field with a mixed herd, but he enjoys his stall, too. I would consider him a low man in the pecking order.
Justin is UTD on shots and coggins. He stands great for the farrier, baths, clips, and loads in and out the trailer with ease. He is currently shod all the way around.
