Even if you have no clue how to ride Whiskey will make you look like a professional. With extensive training in the reining Whiskey can do flying lead changes, sliding stops, spins, & quick and fancy roll backs. This sweet gelding is currently showing successful in Ranch Versatility, Ranch Riding, 4H Reining, Trail, Western Riding, & Ranch Reining horse. I have been lucky enough to spend the last 4 years with Whiskey. We have hauled to Open & Ranch Shows, sorted in 2 man sorting competition & spent tons of hours out in the woods trail riding. He is always willing & haules great. The kids have enjoyed him out in the water swimming & cannon-balling off him. He's absolutely a joy to be around
Whiskey easily gives laterally to the bit and yeilds off leg pressures, but he's quiet enough for anylevel rider young or old! He will ride bareback in just a halter or Bridle-less.
Not only is he fancy in the arena but he's a trail horse Deluxe. He will pack saddle bags and go anywhere you point him. He has encountered all types of wild life with no spook or hesitation. But his resume doesn't end there. Whiskey will sort cows in the feild or box them in the arena. Great for the ARHA shows!
Whiskey is 8 years old, stands 14.2 hands, BUCKSKIN and a tail that literally drags the ground. He's always the first to meet you in the feild and can sit for weeks or months without work and be the same horse everytime. UTD on shots and coggins. He stands great for the farrier, baths, loads in and out the trailer with ease He will stand all day to the side of the trailer for horse shows.
