Cappi is an 8-year-old dun beautiful gelding standing 15.1 hands and weighing around 1,200 lbs. He’s being offered here on behalf of a client who purchased him as a rope horse prospect, but has since decided she would rather invest in a finished rope horse. That puts a very nice, broke gelding on the market for someone who’s looking for a steady, versatile partner with the foundation to go any direction. This gelding has been in the same hands since a yearling, and it shows in the way he carries himself. He’s honest, dependable, and always ready to saddle up and go have fun. He’s spent his time packing hunters through rough country, handling real ranch chores, and traveling across mountain and canyon trails without hesitation. He’s the kind that doesn’t melt in bad weather, doesn’t spook at shadows, and doesn’t make things complicated — he just goes forward with a calm, willing attitude. Cappi has been introduced to the rope, will drag logs and has had a few calf’s drug of him , and takes to new jobs willingly. He travels well and collected, with plenty of size and bone to make a head horse with more seasoning. He goes down the trail quiet and steady, crosses water without a blink, and will step over or up anything you put in front of him. He’s already been over obstacles and handled them without fuss.
