Check out this gorgeous looking 15.2 hand and built like a tank 8yr old registered palomino quarter horse gelding. He is a total gentleman who loves attention and he's always the 1st one to meet you at the gate in the morning whether he is in the stall or out in the pasture. You won't have to go look for him as he will come to you. Captain also loves to be groomed, bathed and will stand for the children to brush him. He will also stand to be tacked up and to mount.
Captain has seen lots of trail miles this summer in the mountains and state parks. He is a safe, solid trail mount and trailers well wherever you want to go. He will load and unload with no problems and will also stand tied all day if need be. He would also a good 4h or gaming guy. He neckreins and has a nice walk-trot canter and willingly will give you the gait you ask for. The good thing about Captain is he doesn't need to be ridden every day or every week ot even with time off in the stall or pasture. he will stay broke and absolutely no buck bite or rear. He has a gentle puppy dog personality that will definitely win your hearts plus with his size and build he will carry any weight rider. I think pretty much anyone can get along with him. He will also ride English if you wish to.
Captain will carry the flag, play bounce ball and even the tarp doesn't bother him. He has also been ridden on the main highway and traffic and big farm equipment doesn't bother him.
We've also used him to check fences and do pasture checks. Captain will also work cattle if you want.
Captain is up-to-date on farrier and dental as well as dewormer and has his 5 way vaccines. He has a current coggins and health certificate. He sells sound and sane with no vices or bad habits and looking for his next lifetime partner
