Meet Babe Ruth. Yes she is a girl!!! Babe Ruth is just 13 yrs old. She is the perfect fun size of 14.2 hands tall and she is a wide as a house. She would like you to think she is just thick boned. But the fat comments get brought up from time to time. To say she is an easy keeper is an understatement.
💎This girl is as classy and stunning as they make them. Plus she is a bombproof all around type anyone can ride.
💎Has all the fancy bells and whistles. Rides like a reining horse. Can slide to stop. Really spin around if you ask her to.
💎Babe has an old soul, been-there-done-that personality that makes her the go-to for a quiet enjoyable ride.
💎She is both well trained and well behaved in any scenario or discipline. She is quiet and soft to ride in or out of the arena, alone or in a group. Not at all skittish, jumpy or reactive yet sure-footed and nimble through coarse uneven terrain.
She has a ground covering walk, a silky smooth jog, and a dreamy lope all on a loose rein or even no bridle at all! Not forward or pushy making her a terrific step up for a novice rider looking for a confidence builder or babysitter to show them the ropes! Very forgiving and patient both on the ground and under saddle. She rides English as well and has been schooled over cross country courses. She ready to go show with endless potential to progress. She has enough of a handle to participate in local fun shows or 4H and also pull her weight around the ranch doing chores.
Babe has spent plenty of late nights around the roping pen as well as early mornings trotting out to move cattle. She has been used in the cutting pen to turn back. She can really work a cow. She has so much athletic ability. She is no stranger to a hard days work and is a blast to use! Side passes to open and close gates, rides anywhere in the group, has snubbed colts, drug logs, crosses water, easy to catch wherever you find her, loads and hauls like a dream, stands tied quietly, great for the farrier.
Babe is absolutely a favorite among everyone that meets her. I cannot express enough how safe she truly is. This mare wants to please and wants to take care of her rider. She has zero and I mean zero bad habits. You will not get hurt around this mare. Unless you are just drunk and fall off. 😂
