Teacup is a 13yo grade gray mare that stands 14.2 hands. When I think of teacup 3 words pop into my mind, honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Teacup is the kind of horse you want to ride, whether it be 100° or -8° it doesn’t bug you to saddle and ride, because she’s just that good ! Teacup is not your typical mare, quite honestly I believe she identifies as a gelding, she is happy to see you, happy to be with other horses, and just happy all the time ! Teacup stands to be saddled, bridled, tacked, she loads with ease and is good in a stall or turned out. Teacup stays broke with time off and saddles up gentle no matter the weather, or time she’s been standing. Are you wanting a pint sized horse that’s stout enough to carry just about anyone ? Something easy to get on and off of on the trails ? Then teacup is your gal, although she is small, she’s mighty and can keep up with the big horses or can slow it down and drop your reins and she will ride like a snail. In the arena teacup will walk trot lope circles, she pivots and is soft in her face and sides, she has a nice light neckrein and moves off your legs as well. We’ve used teacup a lot outdoors, we check momma cows on her daily, we use her to pen back at the stockyards, and she’s my go to horse to pony colts off of, she’s zero drama and no fuss. Teacup has seen lots of outside miles and nothing phases her, she crosses anything asked, and is traffic safe as well. There’s not a hill to steep or a creek to deep for teacup. One thing I really like about teacup is you can make mistakes on her and she just takes them in a stride, halterbreaking and ponying colts isn’t always ideal, and I’ve put teacup in alot of “messes” she always picks up the slack and gets me out of trouble with ease. Not only can you make mistakes, you can ride her and never have to worry, I ride a lot of young horses and stepping on teacup is like a breath of fresh air, she’s always sane and reasonable about everything asked of her. I’ve given some lessons off of teacup and she adapts and adjust to each rider, timid? No problem! Confident? Also no big deal, teacup got ya! If you’re wanting a horse with a ton of heart, sense, and a good head on her shoulders than I suggest you consider teacup, she’s guaranteed to steal your heart in many ways!
