Pursey is a beautiful 3-year-old AQHA buckskin mare with the kindest, most willing disposition. She is gentle, pleasing, and always ready to do whatever is asked of her. With her gorgeous color, sweet personality, and impressive ability, Pursey is the kind of mare that is hard to find and easy to love.
Pursey was started by our 13-year-old son, Statler, who has done an outstanding job developing her into a quiet, confident, and dependable young mare. Together, Pursey and Statler earned the Intermediate Colt Starting Championship, as well as the Intermediate Champion Showman title. She has been handled and ridden extensively by a young rider and has always been willing, patient, and eager to please.
Pursey is an exceptional trail horse. Take her to the hills, ride her through rough country, or head out alone—she remains calm, confident, and dependable. She is equally happy riding with a group or traveling down the trail by herself. She crosses water, handles uneven terrain, and goes wherever she is pointed.
This talented little mare has also been used around the ranch and introduced to roping. She is willing, handy, and enjoys having a job. Pursey has a great foundation, a willing mind, and the ability to continue in nearly any direction. Whether you are looking for a trail partner, ranch horse, roping prospect, or an all-around family mare, she has the potential to do it all.
