Buttons is a grade 9 year old mare standing 14.2 hands tall. If you haven’t guessed it already by her photos she is just as cute as a button with a unique champagne color that will have everyone talking about her! Buttons has been rode by kids, approved by mom, and even received the okay from grandma! She is safe, safe, safe! This mare is another one we are very honored to offer and look forward to finding her perfect family! She has been there done that. Riding down the trails, through town, at the play days, and even helped move some cattle. There isn’t a single job you could offer this mare that she would refuse. She is not buddy or barn sour- meets you at the gate ready for the day! She is easy to tack up, stands tied quietly, loads and unloads with no issues, good for the farrier and the vet. Up steep hills, through deep water, or over tall logs Buttons takes her time to ensure her riders safety. She has been hauled to several horse parks and is the same horse no matter the environment around her. Buttons will walk, trot, lope with ease. An easy stop and backs when asked. Buttons is also the type of horse you can leave off for months- go catch her with a halter-hope on bareback and lope off across the pasture without a single fuss. She has zero buck, bite, rear, or kick! Buttons has also has very good ground manners. She is not pushy, loves attention but still respects your space. She has been exposed to all sorts of silly things and not once offered to spook. This is a well minded non-marish mare with a unique color that your kids will love! Buttons has never taken a lame step, she does not crib or weave. She has no past health issues. Buttons does have a small spot on her right eye-we believed it happened eating from the hay bale- it was seen by a vet and she still has full vision in that eye- it is only a scar.
