Imperio is a very complete bay colt. He is nicely uphill built and has very good gaits, with a powerful trot and a good canter. An appealing foal with quality and presence from a damline that has already produced many international sport horses.

Sire
Vigo d'Arsouilles (1.60m) became world champion in showjumping under Philippe Le Jeune and is a son of Nabab de Reve (1.60m). As a sire he produced, among others:
• Ego van Orti – 1.65m
• Irenice Horta – 1.65m
• Vino Z – 1.65m

Dam
M.Wellie jumped at 1.25m level herself and looked a true jumping phenomenon, but an injury took her out of sport. She is a daughter of Stakkato Gold (1.50m). Through Stakkato (1.60m) and Wertherroeschen (1.55m) a great deal of proven sport blood comes together here.

Granddam
S.Wellie 12 jumped 1.35m herself and has proven herself as a strong producer of sport horses. Among others, she produced:
• C Wellie – 1.50m
• I.Wellie R 58 – 1.50m
• Mr. King – 1.45m
• Joy – 1.40m
• Kwik Star – 1.40m

Deeper in the strong Wellie family we again find a lot of international sport, including Gcewellie, Medoc II, Oberon, Monolino and Fantom at 1.60m level.

Imperio combines his complete model and strong movement with the proven Grand Prix blood of Vigo d'Arsouilles and a very sporty damline. A colt with many interesting ingredients for the future.

Collection of the foal

The foal stays with its dam after the auction and can be collected once it is approximately 4.5 months old and has been weaned responsibly.

In consultation with the seller/breeder it is often possible to leave the foal with its dam or at its current location for longer. Any additional stabling or rearing costs are settled directly with the seller.
