Skittles is where those good solid geldings start. He has all the right things going for him. He has an excellent mind. Very willing, kind and trainable. He takes all new things in stride and learns very quickly. He is very personable, he meets you at the gate, enjoys attention and is happy to a job. He is a silly guy who enjoys playing with everything, feed sacks, grain bucks, anything that will rattle, make noise or flop around. He isn’t spooky and he seems to enjoy all the things that are normally scary to a horse, tarps, bags, pool noodles, things blowing in the breeze, he has to check them all out and see if he can play with them. He goes through all the trail obstacles, crosses water, been out trail riding and moving cattle, been rode in town and not bothered by traffic. He has the right start to him that will make him a high dollar gelding some day or that perfect family horse that you will love forever. A good mind is something a horse is born with, the right training comes in time and the good looks will make you stand out. Skittles has it all going for him. He loads easily and backs out of the trailer. Good to bathe and for the clippers. Skittles stands well for the farrier, good for the vet. He comes up to date on worming, vaccinations, farrier and dental. He will have complete vet records, current health and coggins. He has had a basic health exam and we welcome you to do your own PPE.
