Montana is a coming 4 year old registered Appaloosa gelding. Not only does this guy have a full mane and tail but he is conformationally good looking and has the coolest looking color! He has always been an in your pocket gelding with a puppy dog personality. He is very friendly and enjoys being in peoples company. Montana will come over to the shake of a grain bucket or will be the first meet you at the gate. Montana is confident, quiet, and willing to please. He goes where he’s pointed and rides off alone or in a group. Montana will lope nice collected circles, has a good stop, neck reins and is starting to spin nicely. Montana is light in your hands and throughout his body. He will side pass move his shoulders, hind quarters and he will lay down on cue. Montana is sacked out to a variety of things, will go over a teeter totter bridge, noodles obstacles, tarps, big balls, ATVs, etc… anything new we’ve ever thrown at him he accepts with confidence and ease. Montana has been started on the hot heels. He also drug heavy logs and is no stranger to weight in the horn or seeing things on the end of a rope. Montana has been rode both in the arena and outside. He steps out nicely, on the desert and on the trails. He will cross logs and water with no problems. He is sure footed knows how to pick up his feet when navigating through various different terrain. Montana has been rode by a variety of riders and has handled them all with ease. Montana stands around 15.1 hands. He will pick up all of his feet, stand tied, trailers and hauls with no problem.
