Alfred is an eye-catching and adorable Appaloosa. He is conformationally correct, beautifully built, and sports a striking red roan Appaloosa coat with bold, prominent spots across his hindquarters. To top it off, he has a healthy mane, and a thick, long tail.
While Alfred’s looks certainly make him stand out, his ability is equally impressive. He has been used outside to doctor and gather cattle, has been on countless trail rides, carried flags, and confidently navigated a variety of obstacles.
Alfred is especially enjoyable to rope on, he spent this last winter getting roped on daily. He runs very easily to cattle, making him easy to use for ropers of all experience levels.
Although Alfred has proven himself in the roping arena, we believe he has the versatility to excel in many other disciplines as well. He is gentle, easy to handle, and a pleasure to have around. He walks out quietly, gets along well when turned out with both geldings and mares, and is equally content stalled by himself. He loads and hauls exceptionally well and has spent plenty of time tied quietly at the trailer or fence during ropings like a true gentleman.
