Rouen Synthetic Monoflap Cross Country Saddle – Lightweight, Durable & Designed for Precision Performance

The Rouen Synthetic Monoflap Cross Country Saddle is purpose-built for eventing and cross-country riders who value security, comfort, and freedom of movement. Made from high-performance synthetic leather, it offers the appearance of traditional leather with the advantages of being lightweight, weather-resistant, and easy to maintain—perfect for everyday training and competition.

This saddle is built on the Genesis tree, designed to deliver strength, flexibility, and long-lasting comfort. It comes with a Medium/Wide gullet plate as standard and is fully compatible with the Genesis gullet system, allowing for easy, on-the-go fit adjustments as your horse develops or changes shape.

The monoflap construction promotes close contact and improved communication between horse and rider, giving you greater responsiveness on course. A forward-cut flap, supportive knee blocks, and a balanced seat provide the stability and support needed for technical terrain and jumping efforts.

Further information

Our founder, James Thornton, spent 20 years as a competitive show jumper before turning his passion into a craft. He knows what a poorly fitting saddle does to a horse — the muscle tension, the resistance, the quiet suffering. And he knows the transformation that happens when everything is right: the horse moves freely, the rider sits deeper, and the communication between them becomes effortless. That vision drives everything we make.
