Exceptional FEI Schoolmaster – Connemara Gelding – 138 cm – Born 2005

A truly special opportunity to purchase an experienced, genuine and versatile FEI schoolmaster.

Tynan Earl Grey “Tykki” is a 138 cm Connemara gelding with extensive international competition experience in show jumping and, in recent years, a successful career in dressage. He is now looking for a new home where he can continue teaching and giving confidence to a young rider or a small adult.

Tykki previously competed internationally in show jumping before changing discipline to dressage, where he has competed successfully at national level. In 2026 he qualified for and competed at both the Finnish National Championships and the Nordic & Baltic Championships. During the current season he has also been selected for both the regional and Finnish national dressage squad training programmes.

He is an exceptionally kind, honest and reliable pony with an outstanding temperament. Easy to ride, naturally forward-going and responsive to the rider’s seat and aids, he gives his rider confidence while still offering enough quality to help them progress. He has been professionally trained and coached throughout his career and remains enthusiastic, willing and eager to work every day.

Although his recent training has focused mainly on dressage, Tykki has never lost his love for jumping. He has continued jumping regularly to keep him fresh and happy, and there are no limitations preventing him from returning to the show jumping arena. His international jumping background makes him an excellent all-round competition pony.

He is equally enjoyable at home and away. Tykki is uncomplicated in every aspect of management: shoeing, clipping, loading, travelling and veterinary procedures are all straightforward. He is an experienced traveller and a relaxed competition partner. He has even safely carried young children independently, demonstrating his exceptionally trustworthy character.

Tykki is regularly vaccinated, receives routine dental care and veterinary check-ups, and has no known health issues affecting his performance. He is in full competition condition. His legs have been X-rayed with no significant findings, and the X-rays are available for serious buyers.

He is currently turned out individually and does not graze.
