Meet Scooby - one of the most incredible, one of a kind, draft crosses we have ever had to offer. Scooby checks every box we have ever had and then some. He is as gentle, kind, well trained, and friendly as they come. He is also absolutely stunning and very uniquely colored. He safe for absolutely anyone and total baby-sitter you can have 100% confidence in.
Scooby is the sweetest horse at the barn. He also has a hilarious personality and tons of character that makes everyone laugh. He will find you in the pasture and absolutely craves attention. He is gentle and kind enough for all ages to handle. Our 2 year old daughter can lead him everywhere and he is very respectful and pays close attention to her.
Scooby has exceptional training. He will side pass over to anything for mounting. He will trot with a click, lope off with a kiss, and stop with the word whoa. He is exceptionally soft in both the face and sides and is easy enough for absolutely anyone to ride. His transitions are flawless both top and down. He is as smooth and comfortable as they get.
Scooby rides English and has been lightly started over fences. He is willing and athletic and has the brain to make a phenomenal fox hunter. He stands for the mounting block and is soft in the bridle. He is fancy and will get you noticed.
Scooby has been trail ridden and hauled to our ranch. He is as unflappable as they get and extremely laid back and confident. He loves water. Scooby will ride out alone or follow along. He is a no drama, throw anybody on, baby-sitter type. He rides bareback just as good as saddled and we have even rode him bridleless. He is traffic safe and handles all the obstacles and chaos we have thrown at him perfectly.
Scooby is well broke to drive both single and double. He has been worked in the fields and is gentle/easy enough for anyone to hitch and drive. His teammate is available as well if you are looking for a full/matching team.
Scooby is an absolutely gentleman with picture perfect manners. He stands quiet for grooming, bathing, saddling, etc. He is perfect for the farrier and does not require stocks. He hauls, stalls, and pastures quietly and gets along with everything.
