Everyone who has seen this horse has got to ask about him! All eyes will be on him!!! Bo was born on my farm in Iowa. I rescued his mom from a kill pen, she looked bred but with no history it’s a toss up. She was wild, skin and bones and I thought at any point she would die. The foal would surely die. That’s what I thought anyways, not trying to be too optimistic. I’d never rescued anything, let alone something as far gone and this mare. From the moment I put her on the trailer the tiny red mare started to come back to life. She took everything in stride, never missed a beat. She responded exactly and better than you could predict. Unexpectedly 6 days later this colt, Bo, was born. He was massive, beautiful and completely perfect. She was a great mother and from that moment I knew I had something special. She is a sorrel quarter horse about 14.2. And after being fit back up about as wide as she is tall. Appears to be cutting or reining bred. As time went on no steps were skipped. We moved to Texas, then settled in Oklahoma on a cattle ranch. At the end of his 2 year old year he went to training where he really learned the ranch life. Completely blew my expectations away when he was saddled and riding in the first week, like he’d been ready waiting on me. While there he gathered yearling cattle in pastures, with a band of curr dogs in tow. Chasing cattle and helping break other colts in training. He loved the rugged ranch life. As he came home he was ridden around the farm. He ponied my colts. Rode through checking pasture cows. At the end of his 3 year old year up until now he’s been in training with a cow horse trainer learning all the finesse of a show horse in the arena. He is ready for a job. He loves a routine. He’s gritty, tough and will go all day. He’s ready to go ranch and be taught to be a rope horse. He’d be a great trail horse, hike the mountains, where ever you point him. He’s a big ham with a lot of personality but he’s also very serious. He’s the perfect size for anyone. He’s as beautiful as the day is long. Mane and tail for days, that is completely natural. He’s the most comfortable to ride. Great confirmation and 100% sound. He’s up to date on everything. Shots, wormer, farrier, dentist. He’s good for the farrier, standing tied, loading. He’s been on alfalfa cubes and now alfalfa bale hay. He’s an easy keeper, too easy. He will be the same if you ride him once a week or once a month. He’s not for a beginner as he’s only 4 years old. He has so much potential to be a stand out at what ever you choose to do with him. If we weren’t starting a family I’d keep him. He's too nice of a horse to keep here with no job. This is a once and a life time gelding! I will have more videos on my YouTube. If you have questions, call or text, I’m more than happy to talk about this horse. More videos can be seen @randiKph26.
