Pete is a pretty draft cross gelding that will get you noticed. You will have a hard time finding another one like him! He’s been ridden down the road, around the ranch, and he has been hauled to rodeos where he was ridden in the grand entry. He picks up both leads and collects with ease. Pete has a rocking chair lope that is so comfortable and easy to sit. His other gaits are smooth also making him the most comfortable trail riding horse. He stands for mounting and dismounting, the farrier, saddling/bridling, and he stands tied at the trailer quietly. Pete has a good one hand neckrein. He has a nice turnaround and he wants to use his hind end to stop! He also rides English and has been taken over some jumps and seems to like it. He’s also been ridden at several horse trails in our area and been ridden all over the Red River which is right by our land. He can handle any type of terrain. This fun gelding knows how to lay down and sit up on command. Pete is not lacking in anything from color, conformation, good handle, and everything in between!
