Wilder is a flashy, athletic, fancy broke draft cross gelding standing 15.1 hands tall. He is fancy in everything from his looks to his movement and training. Wilder is kind, gentle, and quiet. He is a true all-around gelding with trail riding, ranch riding, jumping, and arena work all well-versed under his belt.
Wilder has a beautiful handle, complete with a great neck rein, beautiful collected headset, big stop, and push-button transitions. He is very handy and can open and shut gates, side pass, turn around, and lope off with a kiss. We have used him to push cows, hauled him to the trails, and ridden him out on the ranch. He is solid, safe, and enjoyable to ride. He is confident and has no problem with obstacles, riding alone, or cruising with other horses. Wilder is sure-footed and seems to genuinely enjoy going out for a ride.
Wilder is beautiful under English tack and took to fences like a natural. He has been schooled over 2' fences with tons of scope for more. He is bold and honest to the fences and would make a great fox hunter or even a cute little hunter.
Wilder has great ground manners and ties, hauls, shoes, and pastures like one should. He is good with other horses, friendly, and easy to catch. He is sound, straight, and clean-legged and sells with a PPE (see photos for documentation).
