Perfect Pearl is a stunning strawberry roan draft cross mare, with a flowing and wavy white mane, forelock, and tail, 4 white socks, and very kind eyes that have an old soul wisdom.  Pearl is caring and the definition of sweet.  Pearl rides great both Western and English.  She has ponied around small children, been ridden by leggy, tall men, been cantered around like a field hunter, been ridden through a store by school kids, been driven both by herself and on a team, and been trail ridden in all kinds of terrain.  Steep hills, crossing creeks, bridges, noisy & big machines, heavy traffic, being ridden indoors, and even heavy smoke- nothing has phased this girl.  She is the ultimate family horse, personal riding horse, trail horse, horse for a program, vaulting prospect, police horse prospect, therapeutic riding horse, lesson horse, or fancy carriage horse - all in one!

She is 5 years old and a smidge over 17hh, perfect for most rider sizes. Short-coupled and uphill, she's an athletic draft cross with a wonderfully correct build!  She's very comfy & well-balanced and so light in the bridle! Posting the trot is optional, this sweet strawberry girl is smoooooooth to sit at both the trot and the canter!  She pulls off being not lazy or forward, but that sweet spot of just right. Rides in a snaffle and is as gentle as can be.  While no horse is truly perfect every second of every day, Pearl is safe for all rider levels, she is patient and kind and a true old soul and has been ridden by kids and adults alike.  Despite her bodacious build, she has great maneuverability, and is easy and soft off your leg and seat and responsive to the aids without being strong or quick.  She is like riding a cinnamon sugar cloud, soft and light yet like a comfy couch who is willing to go along on whatever adventures you choose!  Want to ride with your friends or family, like literally? Pearl also rides double and triple no problem. Last but not least is her versatility. Now for the more boring details, which are luckily boring for Pearl!  Perfect Pearl has NO vices, that means she does not crib, stall walk, chew wood, she is not herd bound, or ring sour and she respects fences.  She is NOT mareish in any way - I have never seen her pin her ears or swish her tail, she is the sweetest mama mare you can find and with her gentle, kind nature comes the wisdom a mare like she possesses.  She has been turned out in a mixed herd with no issues.  She is not hard to catch (she loves attention!).  She ties, she bathes, she picks up her feet and does not need stocks for the farrier, she is great for the vet, great for the dentist.  She stands for mounting/dismounting.  She walks right onto the trailer and ships good.  She is quiet and peaceful in her stall, as well as in turn-out.  She is an easy keeper and does not require tons of grain.  She is not on any maintenance.  She is healthy and sound, and in fact she recently had a clean vet exam with no issues or significant blemishes!  (Note: Pearl has a painless, resolving, temporary bump on 1 side from getting bumped in the trailer- *it does not cause pain*, and it is healing.   In fact it was not even noted on her vet exam, because it is that unremarkable.  It may be gone by time of auction end but she sells with the bump.)

Pearl is UTD on her dentistry, her vaccines, her coggins, deworming, and farrier.  Pearl fits in normal horse-sized tack, you do not need to go out and buy all specialized draft-sized gear to fit her.  Please contact us to receive an info sheet for her sizes for everything if you are the winning bidder or if you want to be prepared for her arrival home!!
