Rivvy ist eine sehr liebe und lernwillige Stute. Wir haben sie als Fohlen von ihrem Züchter gekauft. Ihre gesamte Vorgeschichte ist also bekannt. Sie hatte die Zeit, sich zu einer guten und starken Stute zu entwickeln. Sie ist daran gewöhnt, neben dem Elektrorollstuhl zu laufen und wurde ein paar Mal an der Straße mitgenommen. Sie lässt sich leicht verladen und ist ruhig auf dem Anhänger. Das macht sie alles sehr brav. Wir haben sie mit der Idee gekauft, sie in der Zucht einzusetzen. Leider scheuert sie nun schon den zweiten Sommer, weshalb wir beschlossen haben, ein anderes schönes Zuhause für sie zu suchen, wo sie besser zur Geltung kommt und fleißig arbeiten kann! Ich vermute, dass das Scheuern von der Menge an Zucker und Eiweiß im Gras kommt und nicht von Sommerekzem. In Bezug auf die Fütterung gibt es also noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Leider besitzen wir nur Wiesenland und ein kleines Stück Wald, daher die Entscheidung.  

Rivvys Mutter ist die Stute Hennie (Foto 7), die eine Modell-Keurstute ist und letztes Jahr Champion der Stuten mit Prädikat geworden ist. Der Vater ist der wunderschöne Rotschimmelhengst Gio (Foto 8). Dieser wurde mittlerweile nach Amerika verkauft und hat im Sport sehr gut abgeschnitten. Der gekörte Deckhengst Låvi ist ein Vollbruder von Rivvy.

Rivvy is een hele lieve en leergierige merrie. We hebben dr als veulen aangekocht bij haar fokker. Haar hele verleden is dus bekend. Ze heeft de tijd gehad om zich te ontwikkelen tot een goede en sterke merrie. Gewend om naast de scootmobiel te lopen en is een paar keer meegenomen langs de weg. Makkelijk te laden en rustig op de trailer. Dit doet ze allemaal heel braaf. Wij hebben haar gekocht met t idee om haar in te zetten voor de fokkerij. Helaas schuurt ze nu voor de tweede zomer dus hebben wij besloten om een ander fijn huisje voor dr te zoeken waar ze beter tot haar recht komt en lekker aan de slag mag! Ik vermoed dat t schuren komt door de hoeveelheid suikers en eiwitten die hier in het gras zitten en niet dat t zomer eczeem is. Qua voeding valt er dus nog wel winst te behalen. Helaas bezitten wij alleen grasland en een klein stukje bos vandaar de keuze.

Rivvy haar moeder is de merrie Hennie (foto 7), die is een model-keurmerrie en is vorig jaar kampioen geworden van de merries met predicaat. Vader is de prachtige rodblakke hengst Gio (foto 8). Die is inmiddels naar Amerika verkocht en heeft het erg goed gedaan in de sport. De goedgekeurde dekhengst Låvi is een volle broer van Rivvy.
