Laguna is a 5 year old Friesian Sport Horse gelding standing 15.1 hands high. Dressage Queens, Eventers, and anyone looking for a horse that will turn heads everywhere you go - check him out! Laguna has a kind and sweet personality, an uphill build, and the right mix of athletic ability and quiet mind. This is one of my all time favorites to have on the cross country course. He's the type you could develop for the upper levels, or take him out today and enjoy. He is dependable on the trails, fancy in the arena, and absolutely loves to jump! Whether you are an amateur rider looking to have the most unique horse in the barn, or looking for a talented young horse to produce for the show ring and upper levels - Laguna is ready to shine with you!

In the ring, Laguna is a fancy, flashy mover. He is uphill, soft in the bridle, and has smooth transitions. He is schooling his flying changes, and has a good understanding of all the lateral work. He has a forward thinking trot, and a very smooth and quiet canter. This horse is just so fun to ride and flat. He is the type that will have you wanting to attend every dressage clinic and show him off to your trainer friends. The older kids take lessons on him, both on the flat and over small fences.

Off property, Laguna is smart and sensible. He is used to going on outings weekly to attend clinics, lessons, and school off property. He self loads, and is a good boy standing on, or tied to the trailer. On the trails, Laguna is happy to relax and see the sights. He loves to swim, and will cross creeks, go through deep water, mud, and any other obstacle you may come across. He is safe in traffic, with other livestock, and with ATVs and bikes. He will ride happily in large groups, or alone. He would be a phenomenal hunt prospect too! He has ridden with hounds, has seen all the terrain and fences, and is used to riding in large groups of horses galloping, and having to stand for periods of time.

Over fences, Laguna is just so fun! From day one he has been brave and so willing, you can tell he loves it! He is adjustable and feels good under you - even if you cant find the right distance he has a natural ability to work it out and always get you to the other side. Laguna is the type that I would love to keep to produce and show for a year if I had the time to be on the road competing!

Whether you want to show, or just have a versatile and show stopping horse at home, Laguna is happy to do any job thats asked of him for the person he loves. He is kind and gentle in the barn, and absolutely loves people. He is a good boy for all the usual barn tasks, and gets along well with his pasture mates. Laguna is an easy keeper with no vices or maintenance.
