Meet Wilson, a 5 year old, 16+ hand Friesian/Standardbred cross gelding.
Wilson is a truly unique individual. He rides western on trails extremely well, he’ll lead or follow and is super brave and confident, making him suitable for any level of rider to enjoy out on the trail.
We’ve taken Wilson to numerous XC schoolings, and he’s a real point and shoot type. As long as you have your connection right with him, he’ll take any jump, no matter how technical it is.
He’s also been to several dressage shows, where he scored between 67% and 69% in T3 during his first summer out.
Wilson drives exceptionally well in any form, whether it’s hooking a young horse beside him, driving in the wheel of a four in hand, or going single. He truly does it all.
He has the talent, movement, and brain to easily progress up the levels in combined driving. He has a great canter and isn’t complicated. Yes, Wilson has a big motor and a touch of spice, just enough to give him that endless work ethic needed to excel in any discipline.
Wilson has absolutely no vices whatsoever and no issues with his living situation. He’s an easy keeper, easygoing, and gets along well living outside with other horses or inside the barn. You can ride him every day or once a month and he’s always happy to go to work.
Wilson would be ideally suited for a confident amateur or in a program. With his talent, the possibilities are endless on how far he can go.
