Vom ersten Tag an überzeugte er durch seine sympathische Art, er ist sehr brav und lieb im Umgang. Auch beim Tierarzt oder Hufschmied ist er sehr anständig. Er liebt es gekuschelt zu werden und Zeit mit seinem Menschen zu verbringen. Beim Reiten zeigt er eine gute Rittigkeit, geht unerschrocken auf dem Aussenplatz und in der Halle. Im Galopp zeigt er eine sehr gute bergauf Tendenz und eine gute Versammlungsbereitschaft, sein Trab ist schwungvoll, gut zu sitzen, der Schritt ist taktsicher und raumgreifend.
